Everyone starts out with something they dream of doing from when they were just a kid, in hopes of it just might happen to them. I was recently watching this movies called “The Back Up Plan” and it’s about this woman (Jennifer Lopez) who had it all figured out, her career, her work and such. But one thing she was missing was Family. So I was thinking to myself, how important is family to you ? Some people don’t want family maybe because they’re scared, don’t have the financial status to be able to start one, or maybe as a woman they can’t bear any. In this scenario, she couldn’t find “Mr. Right“. If that even exists, so she decided to take a donor sperm and use it on herself to get pregnant.
So she was waiting and waiting patiently til she got pregnant. But one day it was raining and she went to go get a cab and all of a sudden this guy gets in the cab with her. Seems like they stole each others cab. As time went on they started seeing each other at the same places, which was quite a coincidence or maybe even faith? Where I’m getting is her big plan was to have a baby and be a single mom, but now her plans have changed.
Reminds of my big plans I had wanted to do which was go to this big university and live on campus to enjoy the whole college experience while I meet new people. But sometimes plans change whether it be good or bad it always turn out for the better.
In the end of the movie, she got both of what she wanted “Mr. Right” and a baby or should I say twins*. But for me, my Big Plan is I don’t really have one yet because I’m just getting started! Since my plans have changed in the past I recently made up for it when I got accepted to Hunter College for the Fall 2010 and I wish to have great experience there and meet new people. So I guessed it did work out for the better? So I have two things I wanted, great boyfriend and a great school!
